Experience Skiing
Addressing all those who may be novices to the snowy slopes, or may only got as far as thinking about it. GO FOR IT! I would always recommend that you go into ski school, where you will have the best time ever as you learn to master skiing or snowboarding skills, amid great laughter and camaraderie!
Work up a huge appetite and thirst and sample the local mountain specialities, such as Tiroler Groestel and gluhwien. Continue the fun at the popular Apres Ski haunts with your new found friends.
Resorts cater for all levels of abilities and budgets and we are here to advise you on those which will best suit your requirements, whether you are looking for a family, a large group or a smaller party. First-hand knowledge can be provided by an ex ski resort holiday representative, who is on our staff and another member of our team, experienced in organising group skiing holidays. Let us help you get the most out skiing experience.
Experience the Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands offer a treasure trove of wonderful island experiences – the stunningly beautiful Seven Mile Beach, incredible scuba diving, swimming with the Stingrays at Stingray City to name just a few.
Flights operate to Grand Canyon via Nassau or Miami so that a two-centre holiday can easily be arranged.
Relax on white sands, basking in the Caribbean sunshine, whilst nursing your local rum punch or perhaps learn to dive with expert tuition, first class boats and diving equipment so that you can explore the rich ocean depths. The marine environment is very special and strictly protected and there are opportunities to learn about the unique ecology of these islands with their volcanic origins. Visit Cayman Brac and Little Cayman and escape for a while to a barefoot paradise.
Wherever you stay on The Cayman Islands you will find accommodation, food and service to be of a high standard and everywhere clean and efficient.
There is something for everyone here, so why not go and see for yourself what these islands have to offer.
Experience Mallorca
Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands, known as the Isla De La Calma, or Calm Island.
It has a lot of history and influences from the many nations who have occupied it, including the Moors, who were there for 500 years. This is reflected in the architecture and the place names.
The large chain of mountains which run from the South to the North, along the West coast house many charming villages, including Valldermosa which was the home of Chopin.
The city of Palma is very beautiful with its narrow streets and old buildings and of course, the cathedral. It also has a street of wonderful shops as good as any city in Europe.
Along the East coast are many small coves, whilst further along are some long safe beaches, ideal for holidays with children.
Mallorca also has some of the best hotels in the Mediterranean and several Michelin star restaurants so whether you want to spend your time mixing with the rich and famous in the yachting resorts, clubbing the night away or just relaxing in the sunshine or playing on the beach with the children. Mallorca has it all. What are you waiting for?
Experience Cruising
Cruising must certainly be the type of holiday which has undergone the most changes over the last years.
At one time it was only for the wealthy and the grand ships of this age were testimony to this.
However, now cruising has become a possibility for most people.
There are cruise lines which specialise in ships with entertainment for children and teenagers and others which are geared to the slower pace older passengers. Using smaller ships creating a more intimate feel and with the ability to moor in the smaller ports without having to use tenders.
The joy of cruising is that one sees many different places and unpacks only once...
All ships, of course, pride themselves on the quality of their food and the entertainment every evening.
There are usually one or two formal evenings with the chance to dress up, but always there is an alternative of dining in a different restaurant.
Cruising has become the holiday for everyone, whether it be polar bear watching in the Arctic, island hopping in the Caribbean or visiting all the wonderful cities in Europe. So look out your Panama hat, brush off the deck shoes and join the wonderful world of cruising.
Experience Brazil
The country of Brazil is the largest in South America and offers such a range of different holidays.
The best time to travel is between November and March.
With direct flights to Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo taking 12 hours. Alternative options are available via the United States or Europe. Various classes of travel are available and upgraded seats are worth considering due to the length of the flight.
Rio de Janeiro is fun vibrant city, which has the most spectacular views from Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain. The beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema are long stretches of beautiful white sand with various activities taking place on the beaches during the day and early evening.
If you time your visit to February or early March (depending on the year) you would be in Rio at carnival time. The Brazilians definitely know how to party and for five full days the streets and beaches come alive! At carnival time booking early is a must and accommodation is at a premium.
An internal flight to Iguassu Falls is a must for the first trip to Brazil. Here you will see the spectacular falls, which are taller than Niagara Falls and wider than Victoria Falls, and they are one of the natural wonders of the world. The falls can be visited from both Brazil and Argentina. A helicopter flight above Iguassu Falls is a memorable experience and has the most breathtaking views! There are several hotels where you can stay for a couple of nights at Iguassu.
To the north east of Brazil you can travel to Salvador, a stunning colonial city famous for its Portuguese – African culture and has some stunning beaches.
The Amazon to the north has its dry season between May and November, where you can see amazing flora and fauna. The Pantanal is the best region to see wildlife. Various trips can be arranged to incorporate these areas and cruising along the Amazon is a great way to experience areas otherwise not so accessible by land.
